Glaze to Try: Porcelain

1. Try 2-3 coats of Mayco Turquoise Ice with  1 topcoat of Archies Base 2/3 way down form.

2. Try Ancient Jasper with Textured Turquoise on top.(see photo below)

3. Try GMG over Coyote Mint. could also try it over  Mayco Turquoise Ice.

4. Try Deep Firebrick under Ancient Jasper. Ancient Jasper is heavily coated along the INSIDE and less heavily coated along the outside rim.

5. Rubbing Alcohol Technique:  Create circular patterns in layered glazes with drops of rubbing alcohol. Choose glazes in similar colors for subtle patterns, or create big impact with dramatically different glazes (Red and Black is a fabulous combination!).

a. apply a coat of glaze and let dry.

b. dilute 2nd glaze with water to make it a wash & apply

c. while the wash is wet, drop droplets of alcohol to create circular patterns on surface.

6. Seaweed over Obsidian.

7. Try Indigo float, midnight blue, and ancient jasper. Do not know the order of application.

8. Try Gunmetal Green  over Red Gold.

9. Try ......

 10. Try  Red Gold over black.

 10. Try  2 coats Arctic Blue & 2 coats Ancient Jasper. Not sure which comes first.

 11. Coyote Opal, Gun Metal Green on outside and Coyote Archie’s Base on inside. Not sure which comes first, opal or gunmetal.

-NEVER use3coats. It get milky. Two coats is enough.
